So, while we are suck here in Louisiana, we walk around a lot. And it seems that everywhere we go someone always makes a comment about how little Raylynn looks just like her daddy. It is so true! I am blown away at how much Zion and Raylynn look like their dad. I guess I am just destined to have children that look like Johnny. No Matter What!

RAYLYNN'S HERE!!!!

I am going CRAZZYYY!

So, It's the night before we get little Raylynn...and as you would assume, I am going nuts. I just want to fall asleep and wake up when she is here. But knowing me, that is not going to happen. I will probably stay up all night long and think about how it will all play out over and over! And on top of me wanting to see my new baby, I really really miss my other baby! I have never been away from Zion this long and the worse part is that I dont know how much longer this is all going to drag out! Well, I will have new pictures tommorow!

Hello everyone!! Isn't she beautiful!?!?! We do not have her in our custody right now, but the birth mother did sign her relinquishments today! So we will have her for sure Monday afternoon! We will be sure to post new picutures then!

RAYLYNN BREE MENDOZA

So, it's been a while since we have updated our blog...but we feel like now would be a good time to do that! ;) So most of you know that we have been in the process of adoption now going on two years. Well the process is soon to be over. We got a phone call last Thursday about a birth mother who was due April 24 and was having a baby boy. They said that if we said yes to this child, he would be ours and no other family would be shown. We immediatly said yes and looked forward to the next month of getting ready for our new son. WELL... Come Monday morning at 9:08am I got a phonecall from our agent at H2H, she said she had some news. She said, "The birth mother had her baby already.....and....the baby came out a girl!!" I was shocked about both parts of the news. I immediatly called Johnny and told him he had to come home because we needed to go to Louisiana to pick up our baby. Well now were here. Come to find out there have been some curve balls thrown our way and we won't be able to get our new daughter until Monday. After that we wait for the approval of the ICPC and then hopefully we will be headed home a few days later. We have named her "Raylynn Bre" Ray-after Johnny and I's middle name, Lynn-After my mother and Bre-after Johnny's Mother.
